Awadh Centre of Education is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The college is located at Sheikh Sarai. It is one of the top 10 colleges among all the B.Ed colleges in Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. It is provided with B+ accreditation by recent NAAC reports. The college management is not only helpful but supportive as well. They always solve the queries by students and interact according to the problems.

The admission procedure is completely based upon the entrance exams. The university conducts IPU CET which is an entrance exam being conducted annually. After the declaration of results, each candidate is provided with their respective ranks. Therefore, according to the ranks each candidate is provided with their allotted colleges. The whole process is done by online counseling which is divided by 3 rounds where a candidate can select their preferred colleges. If a candidate does not like the college provided to him/her in the 1st round then he or she can appear for subsequent rounds. Even after 3 rounds, if a candidate requires another college they can apply for Spot round of counseling. The university will provide you with another college. The case of spot counseling is only possible if seats remain vacant after the 3 rounds of counseling. After the college allotment, one can get his/her provisional allotment letter printed and can report at their allotted college with the important documents required, then your admission process will be considered as completed.

Well, I am a student of B.Ed which is Bachelor of Education. The eligibility criteria remains that one needs to complete his/her graduation before with an aggregate percentage of 55 percent. My reason to join this course is because I want to become a teacher. For becoming a teacher, this degree is really important. I love teaching since I was a kid and wanted this to become my ambition as well. The course subjects are up to the mark. Each subject teaches about the different aspects of teaching and children. They conduct different activities to explore oneself. Yes, this course is really important and is useful for me to get a preferred job.

The total number of faculty members are 16. The different faculty for each course. The teachers have a maximum experience of 10 or 12 years. They are well qualified with masters degree or even PhD. Yes, the subject teachers do teach well. Some of them are young and some are experienced. But some of them are really boring with their teaching methods. Sometimes, they become incapable to explain you the concepts.

The college do provide with appropriate teaching training. With the starting of 2nd year, they start with the internship process. The college do have a placement cell. But the salary package depends on the school to where a candidate is selected. Maximum number of students are hired by school after their degree completion. A trained student is provided by salary of up to Rs. 30 -40 thousands. This is a standard range.

There are no hostel facilities provided by the college. Even of the students wants a hostel then they need to report at university for such information. There are neither boys nor girls hostel.

The college is spread in a compact area. There is just one building that has all the facilities. There is an auditorium where workshops are presented. There is no playground. But the college is well-established with a library, cafeteria, medical room and other emergency rooms. There are labs and other activity rooms also.

The college life is totally a different experience. The college totally has a good conduct of activities. The college experience is nice and ideal for a student. The staff concentrates on your exposure with the world and helps you to develop your inner self. There are no fests in the college but there are several other activities that happen in the auditorium area. There are also workshops that happen in this area.
