JKC College B.Sc Review By Pendyala Jeevitha

In JKC college not only studies are given preference, but it is given to sports and cultural activities as well. From our college many people participated in district level cultural events and got the prizes. Many sports events took place in our college. Games like cricket, basketball, tennis, chess, carroms, throwball, kabaddi and many more sports are there, we also have gym and yoga classes. In our college they not only give preference to studies they encourage in every event. They send us too many quiz events, debates etc. And main but not least NCC it’s the greatest experience I have ever had at my college. I am NCC cadet I am having the most memorable days. It’s simply fantastic. I am proud to be JKCian. It is an autonomous college so no worries about exams they will conduct exams only after completion of syllabus and they will never try to complete syllabus in hurry. And mainly no ragging is allowed in our college. They are very strict about ragging and if suppose happens without the presence of staff we can complaint to management, and they will take action on them. When I was studying, I saw 1 student was dismissed from college due to his behavior. If we are good, they will be good with us. There is no gender bias and caste bias in college as everyone is equal. As a girl I never faced any problem in 3 years that’s how our college treats girls. We also have NSS, and we conduct many campaigns. We are having a group through that we donate blood in emergency. We will have special points for NCC, NSS, sports, other activities so everyone in JKC has all talents. Management decided to give points for activities so that students will be active in all not only in studies. If anyone gets fewer marks than expected we can consult staff and there is some process, and they will write letter to bring our papers and check. So, no worries about marks if we are really good at studies.

In our college they are providing different courses with low fee structure. We can enroll by directly going to the campus, there they will give information about admission process and help you if you’re having any doubts. The admission process is so simple we need to have all required documents fill the application form and pay basic application form according to the course we take for BSC it is 5000, even though we are not ready to pay application fee at that time they will give time for us by understanding our problem, so there is no issue in process of application. Once the counseling starts, they will update us in group, and they will take care of counseling process we just need to be in contact with them. I am a bit tensed person whether I will get seat or not I have called them many times they gave me reply so smoothly. I have cleared all subjects in first attempt only. If we try to communicate with teachers and come to college regularly, we will definitely pass the degree. And marks system was 60+40 that means 40 internal and 60 externals. For getting 40 in internals, we just need to maintain 75% attendance and should submit assignments in time. We can easily and happily complete our degree. Even post-graduation is also best and different staff handles it. I have learned many sports in my college there is no fee for sports they will teach us for free and us to tournament. We are having best coach.

After I have said about my college faculty you may think I am saying just to improve my college review but not once when you join you will get to know that what I said was true. Faculty is so friendly and never hesitates to teach many times. If we feel shy to ask our doubts in front of everyone, we can meet them in staff room, and they are always ready to teach us. In some colleges they say that male staff may harass them as I am a female student, I assure to say that they will treat us like their own daughters no worries at all. They teach in a practical way so that students cannot forget or need not to by heart everything. During supply exams time also they will encourage us teach us to be brave. Simply to say we feel like our members. The entire faculty in JKC college is highly talented and knowledge people and they are having many years of experience. They not only give support in studies they also encourage us in sports, cultural etc. They also talk to college management from our side if we are having any problem. They also support us during placements and give instructions how to do and what to do. I will best example to say how friendly teachers are they also play games along with and say some jokes in the middle of the class to make students more interest. They say live examples like story to create more interest in students. The selection process for staff occurs in great way, in front of all board members so all teachers in JKC are fantastic.

Coming to the placements many great companies like Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Divis, Hetero visit our college yearly and give job opportunities nearly for more than 500 people. Not only these many finance companies also visit as I am a science student, I know less about computer background placements. When it comes to science, we really got good opportunities. The package was also good for every stream.

We are not having hostel facility and transport facility. But near our college there are many PG hostels for girls and boys. And need not to be worried that there is bus transport. We are having CT bus stop near college so it’s comfortable and cheap.

We are having great environment as we are having many trees in our campus. We have a big auditorium with good sound system and open-air theatre for parties. And seminar halls with AC and digital facilities. We have good labs for both science and computer students. We have 2 blocks the main block is for science students and other block for computers and so on. We are having lift facility for people who can’t walk. And we are having the best ground where cricket tournament takes place. We also have Gym. And good rest rooms for girls and boys. For girls the rest room was really good and cleans as I am a girl I don’t know much about boy’s restroom. And also, we are having CCTV cameras monitoring. Last but not least when we are in final year, they constructed canteen which was awesome and like small size restaurant, the food was really fantastic and hygiene. We are having the best library and library contains all kinds of books. We have 2 libraries one for UG and other for PG courses.

I really miss my college life if I am having chance, I will study PG also in same college. Because I can’t get such friendly environment and encourage anywhere. According to my many colleges review I heard they will teach like school system like keeping weekly test but in JKC I am sure they teach us in a way where We can remember every class and every topic. We enjoy a lot during fest and sports. I also give some awards to encourage students and I also got it. No one is allowed into college without uniform and identity card. And also, we need to come in time and gate closes after 10:15. College starts at 10 and ends at 4 very comfortable timings after 4 everyone goes to ground, they play a refresh their mind. I am not only having studies but also have great fun. I have participated in sports, ncc, nss, blood donation camps etc. We serve people in many ways and create awareness programs. There is still so much to say. Its better everyone experience, and you will get to know more about JKC. I am sure that everyone likes.
