Some of my seniors were studying at CU Rajasthan and I heard good words from them regarding this university. That is why I studied here, and I am glad I got such an opportunity to be a part of this university. Starting from departments to facilities, everything is good. This is the best among other CUs.

CMS course is all about how media plays a huge role in cultural aspects of several communities around world and other basic learnings regarding journalism and mass communication. To study here I gave CUET exam and got selected based on my marks. I got a call from the department and grabbed the opportunity. Similarly, other departments also have the same process. Students who get good marks get selected and join their courses. They also require 55% in bachelor's for general student and 50% for SC, ST and EWS to join master's program.

In CMS department, there were 5 faculties and each of them were Ph.D holders. Dr. Neeru Prasad, Dr. Anoop Kumar and Dr. Nicholas Lakra completed their Ph.D from BHU and Dr. Pranta Pratik Patnaik and our HOD Dr. Amitabh Srivastava, did theirs at JNU. Neeru ma'am and Nicholas sir taught us about advertisement, TV and Radio, Anoop sir taught us about Camera techniques, Pranta sir taught us about role of media in cultural aspects and Nicholas sir taught us about tribal and other indigenous groups.

We have a Placement Cell where the head sir is Mr. Rony Roy. More than 1500 students each year get jobs with the help of this cell. It also conducts job fair each year in December where many good organisations come for the same. Among them there are Thinq360, Epic Business, Zee Rajasthan and Dainik Bhaskar who come for CMS department.

There are four hostels B1, B2, B3 and B4 for girls and three B5, B6 and B7 for boys are available. B1 and B7 is for Ph.D scholars, B2 and B6 is for master's students, B3 and B5 is for integrated course students and B4 is for new joiners. They provide breakfast, lunch and dinner and the infrastructure is made in such way that the temperature stays 5 degrees lower than outer environment in summer and 5 degrees higher in winter. The hostel timing for girls is 5.30 AM to 10 PM and for boys it is 5.30 AM to 12PM. There are also 24x7 hospital and ambulance facilities in case of emergency.

There are multiple departments in this university so, social sciences and engineering departments are in the west side of the campus. Other science department, linguistic, yoga and labs are in the east side. There are two canteens one at east and other at west, which are near the departments. Hospital, Bank of India, post office and general store are in the middle near the hostels. There are three gates to enter this campus. Gate one is for both teaching and non-teaching staff who stays at the North region of the campus. Library is also at the northern area. Gates two and three are for students and other visitors.

My overall experience here is very nice. Most importantly my department and its faculties, they all are very good and understanding. In this campus we celebrate each festival and other national activities where every student and faculties participate in it. Central area of the campus where general store and other facilities are available always stays crowdy. Campus is full of various plants, flowers. There is greenery everywhere. Apart from that, there are multiple seminars get conducted in each department.
