The college is now a deemed university and is also one of the most favored university among students who want to pursue Pharmacy. The college is the reason why students from our college are so technically sound. It’s the institute that has helped student achieve the success that they had and in return they had build the college reputation. They have their own entrance test and the eligible students get admission without any fuss. Many college offers B.Pharm course for 3 years but at PES University it’s for 4 years. The level of education is quality and has some of the most advanced labs. Bangalore is a Pharma hub but PES University has build a reputation and that is why most students today have made PES College of Pharmacy their top choice college.

The college has divided courses quite well as all the subjects that it covers in the 4 years are sufficient to have a safe and sound knowledge about Pharmacy. The college by the way it has conducted its academics have given competent and skilled pharmacists. The college in its education program also teaches students the value that they bring to the society and never make the profession just to earn wealth. The research activities that are associated with the course is simply great. We had a lot of fun all the while and don’t think can thank the University enough for that. The Academic part of the University is unquestionable, and one shouldn’t think twice before taking admission in the college.

Not just the academic part but also the non-academic part, you can discuss with the faculty with ease. They are so easy to approach and helpful in whatever you do. If you want to know or explore beyond the subjects the faculty even appreciate the effort and make sure that they are with students in that. The insightful messages that they gave to us during our time not only motivated us but also brought the best among each one of us. Pharmacy is something that has to be done individually and therefore rather than dividing us among the groups, we all were given different tasks over the years and shared the information among the others. The faculty members are the reason for successful running of the college for such a long time.

The University is reputed and its reputation has made worthy companies or pharma giants like Biocon, Astra Zancea, Dr. Reddy’s to come at our campus and hire the industry ready students. The recent pandemic has proved the worth of Pharma industry and this will reflect in numbers as well. The average placement which was around Rs. 3 lakhs 4 years back has started taking giant leaps and will touch average Rs. 5 lakh figures mark for sure. More than the job offer, the companies that hire the students from our college holds a bigger mettle and I hope that many global companies too started looking at the students from our college.

There are 6 boys and 4 girls hostel but all outside the campus. The college though has arranged bus services from hostel to college. The hostel are common for many undergraduate programs that the University offers and there are chances that you might share rooms with students studying different course at the University. The students are more and the hostel capacity is less and trying out other options is also a great idea as Bangalore is known for providing quality residential facility. Talking about the hostel it is modern and has all the facilities that a student can ask for.

The campus area is small as it accommodates various courses that the University offers. However, the area in which the University is situated is great as the connectivity and the availability of all the items near the college makes it one of the best located colleges in the city. The classrooms are big and have the digital setup that enhances interactive learning in the students. The labs are modern and loaded with all the latest machines. The college has also set up a digital library and it becomes easy to access whatever books we want. There is a separate library as well which has study tables that can accommodate 200+ students at a time. The campus has just 2 buildings and various other programs are running simultaneously. An indoor table tennis and badminton court is also available at the campus. The canteen is small but good and is often crowded.

The campus attracts students from all the states of India and diversity in campus is easily available. The ragging which is common in medical colleges, our college has zero tolerance to it and there’s nothing that student has to fear about. Top promote health, every year a yoga week is celebrated at the campus. The only thing which I didn’t like was the uniform. In college who loves wearing a uniform but sorry in PES, you don’t have a choice about that. There are different activities clubs in the campus that helps you unwind after the college hours.
