Jabalpur Engineering College Jabalpur Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The College was established in 1947, so it’s infrastructure is from that era. A bit old, but the College maintains it well. Modern facilities have been added too. The campus spans across 255 acres. This area includes buildings, hostel, sports facilities, canteen, parking and other things. This College is located on the north-eastern outskirts of Jabalpur, making it a substantial campus area. The College also has its personal huge library, which is my favourite place in campus. Every classroom here, has a seating capacity of 120 students.

Overall campus life here is very good in all terms. In this College, you’ll not just study a course, but you’ll live every new moment of your life. There are so many clubs in campus like ‘DanceOn’ for dance, ‘Raag’ for singing, technical clubs, etc. I am also part of them. Unlike most colleges, JEC has a different infrastructure for each department. Each building reflects its background and it is designed differently. Its campus is spread over 255 acres. Its library has enough books but books are allocated according to the category hence reserved candidates get a privilege here. There is a canteen, which provides various fast food options. There is enough space for parking in each department and 2 major common parking areas. There are always 2-3 on duty security guards here.

The campus life here is not very happening as Jabalpur as a city does not attract many artists and it being a government college, the culture here is decent and does not support western culture much. But events like ‘Aavahan’ i.e. a sports fest and then some technical fests are also organized. There are various Technical and non-technical clubs for literature, dance, coding, hackathons, singing etc. Every year 2-3 hackathons including SIH are conducted at college level. JEC Jabalpur has a good and clean infrastructure, with good labs for electrical and computer science, as well as others. It is well-equipped with infrastructure and resources. There is a huge library having all kinds of books and quite a workable environment. Also, it has a large auditorium for all the events and functions. Recently they have the opening of their new gate having a large parking and space area for the student and the faculty as well.

JEC Jabalpur has great campus life. There are numerous events and festivals that are by the committee. W also has our own college fest that is a sports fest named, ‘AAVAHAN’. All the festival and fest are celebrated in the University premises with enthusiasm. There are several committees like Raag, Dance on and various coding or technology committees.
