The Sreenidhi Institute of Science and Technology (SNIST), Hyderabad has technically advanced infrastructure wherein cutting edge facilities are available to ensure overall development of the students. The SNIST campus also has disabled-friendly amenities such as ramps, rails, etc. to ease the commute of the specially abled students.
The campus area of SNIST is nearly 33 acres where about 8 academic blocks along with other buildings have been constructed. Moreover, at the Institution’s premises, a wide array of educational & recreational amenities including smart classrooms, cafeterias, vigilance cameras, hostels, sports, and many others are available for the students.
The student-centric campus of the Institute has nearly 94 classrooms (84 for UG students & 10 for PG students) and each of them has adequate seating arrangements for upto 120 students. - Library: There is a central library (or Library and Information Centre) that is fully stocked with 13,930+ book titles, 1,95,925+ book volumes, 115+ National & 110 International journals, and other reading material. Apart from this, the e-library of the Institute is available at the provides students with access to a huge range of the digital learning material including e-journals, e-books, etc. from IEEE, J-GATE, DELNET, EBSCO, and other databases.
To cater the academic needs of students of different programs, the Institution has departmental libraries.
- Laboratories: Around 2350 updated systems with 1 Gbps bandwidth internet connective are present at 4 computer labs & other areas of SNIST campus where students can search online information regarding their academics & learn technical skills. Along with this, approximately 113 fully-furnished laboratories are available at IT, CSE, ECE, Mechanical Engineering, and multiple other departments.
A few examples of departmental labs developed at the premises are Power Electronics lab, Surveying lab, Analog Circuits lab, Manufacturing Processes lab, etc.
- Sports: At the SNIST campus, courts & grounds of Cricket, Basketball, Football, and other games are available. Moreover, an ‘Indoor Sports Stadium’ has been developed wherein adequate amenities for Chess, Carom, Table Tennis & other indoor sports are available.
The Department of Physical Education supports students to take part in tournaments, competitions, and other sporting events organised at National & Inter Institute levels.
- Hostel: The Institute has accommodations where both male and female students can stay comfortably. Additionally, the multi-storied SNIST Hostel contains upto 8 twin sharing and 60+ quadruple sharing rooms which are furnished with basic living amenities. Furthermore, to create a home away from home atmosphere for the hostellers, messes, drinking water, sports, stationary, medical, etc. are available at the residential complex.
- Cafeteria: There is a cafeteria at the SNIST campus which offers affordable snacks, packed food, beverages, and other food items to the students.
- Transportation: Students are provided with safe and secured commuting facilities via 45 buses which run across different routes of the city including Kukatpally, Dilsukhnagar, Indira Park, Suchitra, Malkajgiri, etc. Moreover, these buses have accommodation capacity of nearly 1500 students.
- Healthcare: A ‘Clinic cum Dispensary’ is present at the SNIST Hyderabad campus to provide first aid medications to the students at free of cost.
