The Eternal University was established in 2008 under the aegis of the Kalgidhar Trust, Baru Sahib. Located at Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, the State Private University is approved by UGC & AICTE.
It is recognised by INC, NCTE, Association of Indian Universities (AIU), Scientific and Industrial Research Organisations (SIRO), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), Department of Scientific & Industrial Research (DSIR), and the Department of Science & Technology (DST). EU Sirmaur is also accredited by NAAC and is certified by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
The University is popular for its emphasis on imparting value-based education to the female students and supporting their holistic development.
The Eternal University Baru Sahib offers around 70 programs to the students at the Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and Doctoral levels at a reasonable fee structure. The University has around 7 constituent Colleges; few of those are Akal College of Arts & Social Sciences, Akal College of Engineering & Technology, Dr. Khem Singh Gill Akal College of Agriculture, and so on.

Admission Process
Students who fulfil the eligibility criteria are required to book the admission seat for the desired program by paying the requisite amount & submitting the required documents to the Admission Cell.
After confirmation, students have to further appear for the entrance exam (if applicable), and submit the admission form via online or offline mode along with the necessary documents and stated fee.
Note: Students can either fill-in the application form from the University’s official website or download the admission form & submit it at the campus. Also, for certain courses selection will be done based on the merit marks in the respective entrance test conducted by the University / State or National level.
