The faculty members in sociology department are supportive and well qualified. Most of them have done Ph.D from big Universities. They mostly use blackboards for teaching and sometimes they arrange group discussion also in the class. The best part is their problem solving nature. Since I am preparing for JPSC, they guide me a lot after the class timings. The teacher student ratio is decent like 1 professor for 40 students.
