NICMAR University Pune Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

National Institute of Construction Management and Research University, Pune provides housing facilities to the students through its 4 hostels (3 for boys’ and 1 for girls). Moreover, the boys’ hostels are, namely, ‘Millennium’, ‘Silver Jubilee’ & ‘Ultima’ and the hostel for female students is known as ‘Millennium’.

The hostels at the NICMAR University Pune have space to accommodate around 1333 students in total. In addition, the residential spaces have fully furnished rooms which are allotted to the students on single & double occupancy with sufficient facilities. Also, the NICMAR University Pune hostel fee is between Rs. 1,79,000/- to Rs. 1,92,000/- per annum (including hostel & mess charges).

For the students who are staying at the NICMAR University Pune hostel spaces, the management has set some rules & guidelines that need to be followed in every condition. Check the below-stated points to know about the rules:

• Hostellers should be back at the premises before the gate closing time which is 10:45 PM and it will be closed till 6:00 AM. However, students can get entry by 11:30 PM if they have provided the valid reasons and have prior approval from the authorities.
• At the time of entry in the hostels at any time, it is mandatory for the students to show their University’s ID cards to the security personnel.
• It is mandatory that every hosteller marks their attendance between the specified timings which is 8:00 PM to 10:30 PM via biometric authentication on ERP.
• For organising any celebration like birthdays, students have to seek prior permission from the Hostel Department.
• Silence should be maintained during the quiet hours in the hostels and the timing for the same is 10:30 PM to 6:00 AM.
• Boarders cannot keep any personal e-appliances like heaters, irons, induction kettles, or immersion rods in the hostel rooms.
• The department has banned illegal activities like ragging & gambling, possession of incoherent items like drugs, cigarettes & alcohol, and others within the premises.

The NICMAR University Pune hostel rooms have modern architecture and facilities like beds, study table, chair, etc. and are available on a single & twin sharing basis. Apart from this, the hostels offer outdoor & indoor sports, Wi-Fi, television, food & dining, and other amenities for the students.

The University offers a mess facility for the students and it is mandatory to avail in order to live at the hostels. The Student Hostel Coordinator connects with the students to know about their preferences for food in order to design the menu. In addition, every student has to pay Rs. 1,14,000/- as an annual mess fee.

The NICMAR University Pune hostel mess is managed by the external coordinator to provide 4 meals a day to the students which are as follows with the timings:

• Breakfast: 7:30 AM to 8:45 AM
• Lunch: As per Academic Timetable
• Evening Tea: 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM
• Dinner: 8:00 PM to 9:45 PM

Below-mentioned are the some mess rules which students need to follow:

• Students have to follow the specified mess timings.
• Any food item cannot be carried from the mess to the hostel rooms without the approval of the warden.
• In the dining hall, students have to mark their attendance through a biometric system during the meal timings.
