I just completed my 1st year at Haridwar University and based on that I can see its overall good & value for money. The placements here are average you can say but for Agriculture branch, it is actually good where the highest gone upto 15 LPA. 'RCOE' is quite an impressive College. For students who are from Roorkee, there are two of the best Engineering Colleges present. IIT Roorkee is of course the most sought after and after that it's RCOE. Both the Colleges are similar in a lot of ways as the education pattern, the semester exam timings, and more or less the syllabus are entirely the same. We were taught from the leaf taken out of their syllabus as RCOE management left no stone unturned in making sure that students here get as much as the students of IIT Roorkee get. For me, RCOE is a long-term candidate because the College has started showing signs of progress recently. Almost all the Top IT Companies like Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and Amazon have started coming to RCOE and we were trained and prepared to crack jobs in such companies. Many students did and I got placed through RCOE and have no regrets in saying that it was RCOE that has helped us with many green shoots that it has to offer.Read Full Review

Engineering is a floating course as in the 1st year, we have to study everything and then come to our specialized course. The first year was huge fun and then the disappointing part as we had to part ways with a lot of our friends. Well, the College though, goes on as College is not about old friends as you get another hand soon after one flies. However, there was someone who never left our hands and they were the faculties of RCE. RCE College Roorkee on the whole gave us flexibility of studying as per our wish, as mid-semesters didn't carry a lot of weightage and it was the end semester where all things came at large. Things can turn away from one's hand, if they don't take studies seriously here because there is no scope for that at RCE. Competition at RCE is marginally high given the number of students in CSE. Well, I had a life to remember at RCE as my life was always on an uphill spree at RCE.Read Full Review
