Haridwar University: Average Placement with Value for money

Overall Rating
I just completed my 1st year at Haridwar University and based on that I can see its overall good & value for money. The placements here are average you can say but for Agriculture branch, it is actually good where the highest gone upto 15 LPA. The reason I joined this university was the fee of this and the location of Uttarakhand.
 

Academics Rating
I always had interest in computer science that is why I have gone for this course and some faculties are actually good who can help you learn and support you if you wish to. As of now, I do not think there are any criteria except the normal ones (12th passed with Math, etc). Admission process is quite easy where you have to pay Rs. 25,000 for registration and book the seat and then visit the university do the reporting and get your admission done. There are many ones to help you for that so you do not have to worry about. Tests are frequently happening here.
My course is CSE (core). For which I am paying Rs. 1, 27,000 in 1st year and then Rs. 1, 10,000 each for the next three year. If you have CSE, then you have to pay no extra charge like examination fee or library & registration fee. Scholarship is provided for students which good JEE marks or board marks. So if you have good percentile you can hope of getting good scholarship.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is good of my course and even of course, they are good, always ready to help and have friendly nature. They can help you a lot if you wish to learn and gain knowledge. Faculties are experienced as of now but many faculties leave each year the university and shift to other. Not many stays here for long (reason is not known) There's a class teacher of every class with 70:01 ratio
 

Placement Rating
Placements of Haridwar University are average of B.Tech branch but for agriculture, it is good. The highest has gone for 15 LPA this year and lowest to be 4 LPA to 6 LPA and average will be 6 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
If you are used to live in hostel then it will be okay but if you are new, you will have new experience. Girls and boys’ hostels are separate and no one's is allowed to enter into other's one. Hostel fee is Rs. 76,000 & Rs. 86,000 for three and two seater respectively. Honestly, I do not recommend staying at hostel, as you have to order dinner for yourself online.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Infrastructure is average. However, they are upgrading themselves and hoping it will be a great university in next few years or maybe. Library is there which good place to study is. Canteen is good too. Transport facilities are available for nearby students and there is some ground for playing outdoor games. Whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled, so you no need to worry about internet.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is good. There are many students playing outdoor games like cricket, football, and basketball at evening. There is some clubs but I do not have idea of that and there is a cultural fest called ‘Utkarsh. and freshers happen every year so you can enjoy from there.

    'RCOE' is quite an impressive College. For students who are from Roorkee, there are two of the best Engineering Colleges present. IIT Roorkee is of course the most sought after and after that it's RCOE. Both the Colleges are similar in a lot of ways as the education pattern, the semester exam timings, and more or less the syllabus are entirely the same.   • RCE has took engineering up by another level

    Engineering is a floating course as in the 1st year, we have to study everything and then come to our specialized course. The first year was huge fun and then the disappointing part as we had to part ways with a lot of our friends. Well, the College though, goes on as College is not about old friends as you get another hand soon after one flies.   • RCOE has used their resources in the best way

    'RCOE' may not show up in stats as one of the Top Engineering Colleges, but ask the people of Uttarakhand and they will have their views. RCOE is one of the best Engineering Colleges in the state as placement-wise, they have done exceptionally well. RCOE with 75%+ placement records for our branch and getting the course done well before time shows the impact that the College has.   • RCOE is littered to give you a great college life

    The biggest force of RCOE is education as for four years in a row we had a little extra from the previous years. Student intake has increased in a few years and therefore placements have become challenging here, but RCOE is on track for it. We all need a good luck charm every now and then, don't we, and RCOE was that good luck charm for me.   • I am delighted to talk about RCOE
     

    Overall Rating
    The college was never in a hurry to make us the engineers that can take on the world. Academic wise the college has done exceedingly well as the course was more or less the same that IITs has. I wish the placements were at least half of that and that is where the only concern was as otherwise I can’t see a single flaw that RCoE has.
