Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences Mangalore Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

In campus we have 9 departments with library, 4 lecture halls and a well designed auditorium. Also, there are playgrounds but they are average. We have good medical and transportation support with a canteen for all. Class capacity is around 100 plus students in each class with a big campus where medical and engineering departments are separated from dental department.

Campus life is good at Srinivas Institute of Dental Sciences. You will really enjoy everything here. There are sports and cultural week, cricket leagues, etc. Council batch is there with different clubs within institute, anti-ragging committee is also there. Our campus is ragging free. Here all festivals are celebrated; we even have dj nights and all. Even we have annual sports meet with RGUHS sports meet each year where a lot of students participates.Read Full Review

The college has one main building which is also the dental hospital. All the dental classes including practical are held here. For medical classes they have another building which is inside the campus. Infrastructure wise it is quite bad. The campus compound is not completely developed and the buildings are still undergoing developmental phase. There is no much of extra amenities.

Campus life here depends on your friend circle as there is no much of extra engagements by the college. The college is surrounded by other colleges of the same group of institutes i.e. Srinivas Institute, and has plenty of students from different batches and courses to mingle with. The college also has students from many parts of India. There are clubs and fests available but not much often. The academics of the institute are really great. It is situated at the highway to Manipal, hence making it easy to travel to both Manipal and Mangalore central. The locality near the institute includes mostly Karnataka’s. The local language here is Kannada. There are many students from various corners of the country. Their classrooms are huge and can accommodate around 200 students. There are projectors as well as blackboards. Facilities like library are available. Every necessity books are available in the library. Labs, seminar halls, lecture halls, and common rooms are present. There are canteens in the institute with lunch and breakfast options.

The campus life is pretty good in the institute. There are no personal restrictions in the institute. We are supposed to maintain a good percentage of attendance and proper submission if works. The staffs don’t indulge into your personal life at any point. The institute is very crowded with students from different parts of the country. There are cultural fests, inter institute competitions, sports meet and many other interactive fun sessions.Read Full Review
