IIHMR Bangalore Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

Separate IIHMR Bangalore hostel facilities are offered to the male and female students. Furnished rooms are provided to the residents in double occupancy with attached washrooms in the hostels. Mess, RO water purifier, housekeeping, etc. are few amenities available at the hostels of IIHMR Bangalore.

The residents shall pay full amount at the time of admission to avail the twin sharing residential facilities at the Institute’s hostel.

Here are a few points to be considered by students regarding hostel fees & allotment:

• The hostel fees mentioned above include charges for accommodation, electricity, food, security, power backup, housekeeping, washing machine, drinking RO water,Wi-Fi, and lift.
• The fees will not be refunded after joining the hostel.
• 1^st year students have to pay a security deposit of Rs. 5000/- which will be refunded after convocation.
• The rooms of the hostel are allocated on a first-come-first-serve basis to the outstation students by the Management authorities. However, residential facilities may be granted to the local students based on availability.

To ensure a comfortable and safe living environment for students residing at the IIHMR Bangalore hostel, there are some rules mentioned by the hostel authorities which are compulsory for every boarder to follow. Here are some of the mentioned regulations:

• Smoking, consumption of alcoholic drinks or any narcotics materials, and gambling is strictly prohibited on hostel premises. The management has the authority to rusticate the student who is found guilty.
• Hostellers are not allowed to use high voltage power appliances such as electrical toasters, room heaters, iron boxes, electrical pans, etc.
• Roaming around the hostel is restricted from 9:30 PM to 6:00 AM without valid reason or written permission from the warden.
• Students are responsible for any damage detected by the warden while checking the room at the end of the academic year or while leaving for a short break.
• Boarders are not allowed to organise any assembly, party, or activity in the hostel; also, they should avoid creating any nuisance or disturbance to the neighbours.
• Residents of hostels are not allowed to change the allotted rooms without prior written permission of the warden.
• Ragging, bullying, and harassment are banned in hostels therefore, students should avoid involving in any such activities.
• Any staff, visitor, or parent needs to have the permission of the warden / admin to enter the hostel. Bags of every visitor and student will be checked before entering the hostel.
• During the Institute hours, no hosteller is allowed to stay in the accommodation space without any valid health reason and permission of warden.

There is a separate accommodation facility available for male and female students at the IIHMR Bangalore Campus on a twin sharing basis. Basic necessities such as bed, mattress, common study table, chairs, television with cable, almirah for each student are offered at the non-AC IIHMR Bangalore hostel rooms along with an attached washroom. RO water purifier is installed for providing drinking water. Housekeeping is available with a round the clock caretaker.

24/7 Wi-Fi connection and power supply facilities for the students are provided at IIHMR Bangalore hostel. Common washing machines are accessible in both the hostels. Boarders can also access the transportation services. The hostel premises are under CCTV surveillance creating a secure living space for students. For recreational purposes of the boarders, there are few indoor games given in the hostel such as Carom, Chess, etc.

At IIHMR Bangalore hostel, mess & dining facilities are there wherein students are provided with 3 meals a day. Only pure vegetarian meals are served here. The menu includes North and South Indian food.

Residents of the hostel are not allowed to take their meals outside the dining hall. Only students who are sick are allowed to eat their meals in the room with the permission of the warden. Moreover, ill hostellers can seek permission from the concerned authorities and obtain a special sick diet as per recommendation of the Medical Officer.
