Located at Guwahati, Assam, the Royal Global University (RGU) is also known as The Assam Royal Global University. It was established as the Royal Group of Institutions (RGI) in 2009. The Institution was later granted the status of Private University in 2013 and began its teaching operations in 2017. It is approved by UGC & AICTE.

The RGU Guwahati is recognised by PCI, BCI, Indian Nursing Council (INC), Council of Architecture (COA), and Assam Nurses’ Midwives’ & Health Visitors’ Council (ANMHVC). • Royal Merit Scholarship

‘Royal Merit Scholarship’ is offered to the students as per their scores / percentage in the previous exams; details about the same are mentioned below:

* The afore-given scholarship is awarded on a yearly basis & continuation depends as per its norms.

* This scholarship is not applicable for the students enrolled in the courses recognised by regulatory bodies (AICTE, COA, PCI, INC, ANMHVC, BCI & others).

• Zubeen Garg Scholarship

‘Zubeen Garg Scholarship’ is provided to the students who have achieved recognition in different extracurricular activities. Through this scheme, 100%, 50%, and 25% scholarship can be availed by students as per their performance in sports, literary, and cultural activities at Inter University / National / International levels.

• Royal Suraksha

The Institution provides 50% scholarships to the wards of serving or retired Military (Army / Navy / Air Force), Paramilitary, Police Personnel in the North-Eastern Region.
