N. L. Dalmia Institute of Management Studies and Research Mumbai Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

College has one huge white building that is the main building and one building that is glass coated. The infrastructure is something that is first of its kind in Mumbai. Yes the campus is compact but it can easily accommodate the strength that college has. The parking space is also compact and sometimes many students have to park their vehicles nearby college campus. Enough of negative there were enough positives. High tech classrooms, full air-conditioned and also digital blackboards. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled. The library is tiny but can fit nearly 100 students at a time. There are numerous books but I wonder, we even had time to touch those. The portion enough was so lengthy that we only went to library for group studies.

The auditorium was spacious with a seating capacity of 800 students. College campus has 2 canteens but again they too are quite small. However, I must say that they served the best coffees. College canteen was definitely the best place to unwind. Building was recently renovated and thus it looks fresh and the management makes sure that it keeps updating the building.

90% of my time in college was spent in classrooms only for that matter you can ask any MBA students and they will have the same old story. I made some great friends in the campus and even made friends with my teachers and seniors. The seniors in the campus were prompt and always ready for help. Students from all sects of the society and all corners of India can be easily found in our college. College also hosted a fresher and farewell party and it left all of us numb during the farewell. We were asked to pass on the baton to the fresher who gave us a befitting farewell. The story was the same when we were fresher as our seniors welcomed us with open arms.

The life lessons that Dalmia College has taught me will stay with me forever. The faculty was top-notch and co-operative. College also hosts a fest every year and only the first year students are allowed to be a part of that. I though denied being a part of it as I hardly had any talent to showcase but the students who had some showcased their moves. That 1 week at least gave us a sigh of relief as we got some time off studies. All in All, N. L. Dalmia Institute is the reason why I have achieved what I have today. The glass building which was seen just on TV has now become a new normal in Management College. Classes, labs, and seminar halls were conducted in the glass building and the old building is now used as the admin block and has the library hall. The college too was small in terms of area but has all the modern facilities from air-conditioned classrooms to some of the most advanced labs. The library was huge and had books galore. I mostly completed all my assignments in the library and was one of the quietest places in the campus as the chaos in the campus was quite high. The college canteen was one of the best as it had many eating options and Gujarati thali of the canteen is must try. There is also a coffee shop or a cafeteria other than the canteen that is meant only for tea, coffee, and snacks. The building is recently built and is cleaned daily.

My post-graduate college had more events than my UG college and there I could ignore participating but here it wasn’t an option. All the students had to participate in some or the other events and even though I took up a petty role but had to perform in a skit at the college fest. The college will take all the monkeys out of your back or it will break the shackles if you have any. I developed my personality by interacting with students who may have not scored marks as high as me in their school but their communication skills and the way they talked helped me develop my communication skills.Read Full Review

The high-tech glass building is the main building and the one next to it is where classes took place. The campus in terms of area is quite small but given the little strength of the college it was enough. The classrooms were air-conditioned and so was the library. One floor was dedicated for practical’s to bring in some fresh air into the students. The library was small but even I issued books from library twice or thrice in entire 2 years. Before leaving we do use to sip a cup of coffee at the canteen and discuss our day. The college was equipped and with new partners in place the campus has become more vibrant.

From morning to evening we have to be in the classroom. The lunch break and tea breaks were the time when we used to jump out of the classes to relax. The fresher party which has been a tradition at the college was warming and so was the farewell party. Talking about campus life, I don’t think we have spent time in campus other than classrooms and canteens. In a nutshell, Dalmia College is highly underrated and understandably so because of the area it is located. I had some of the best study experience and now enjoying working in a big corporate and that is all because of the efforts of the college they put in to make students.Read Full Review
