BMS College of Law Admissions
The college offers BA LL.B, B.Com LL.B, and BBA LL.B courses. Students who want to get enrolled in the college must have scored minimum 45% marks in 10+2 (40% for SC & ST). Also, they should qualify for BMSCLAT, which is an entrance test. Students can click on the “Apply Now” tab on the official website of the law college. This will redirect them to the “Admission Enquiry Form” where they can fill in the details and proceed with the admission procedure.

Students can apply through either online or offline mode of application.The applicants are shortlisted as per their merit scores.
After the applicants have been shortlisted, the students would receive a Call Letter for the selection process.
Applicants are required to qualify for the entrance test called BMSCLAT which is then followed by a Personal Interview.
The applicants who qualify in the personal interview round are selected. They would receive an Offer Letter and must complete the admission formalities.

BMSCL has a full-fledged and developed Internship and Placement Training Committee (IPTC). It’s major role is conducting various workshops for students helping them to achieve professionalism. The members of the Placement Committee interact with various legal firms, and corporate and government bodies which gives a platform to the students to connect with the legal employers. The placement cell helps students attain professional ethics and social responsibility. It conducts several seminars, group discussions, and mock interviews to nourish their skills and provide them with the ability to work professionally.

BMS College of Law offers well-built infrastructural facilities for students so that they can enjoy campus life. The facilities that are offered by the institute include:
Library: The library of the college provides a rich collection of resources to the students providing subscriptions to many online databases. Students have access to around 23,000+ volumes, books, 20+ national and international journals, reports, newspapers, and 10+ magazines. It has a seating capacity of 300 people offering them a number of services like circulation service, reference services, an online public access catalog (OPAC) & e-mail alert services.
Computer Lab: The campus has a computer lab that provides access to many online legal databases including Manupatra, SCC Online, CDJ, etc. to help students in carrying out efficient legal research.
Hostel: The College provides separate accommodation facilities for both boys and girls. There is a mess, study halls, recreation halls, and solar power facilities for students' comfort.
Cafeteria: Students get access to healthy and nutritious food with hygienic conditions properly maintained in the canteen area. The staff of the canteen constantly ensures the quality of food by taking feedback and suggestions from students.
Seminar Hall: There is a well-furnished and spacious seminar hall that contains a seating capacity of 200 people. The seminar hall is used to conduct various seminars, workshops, conferences, cultural activities, etc. that increase interaction among students.
Moot Court Hall: A well-furnished Moot Court Hall is present which is used to organise competitions that enhance the advocacy skills of students.
Classrooms: Classrooms in the college are well-equipped and filled with advanced facilities, providing an enhanced learning experience to the students. The smart classrooms are integrated with digital technologies like listening devices, audio/visual components, digital displays, and many other interactive devices. All the efforts have been taken to provide a great learning experience to the students.
Sports: There are several sports and cultural activities for the students within the institute. Students can be a part of outdoor events like Football, Cricket, Throwball, Kabaddi, Handball, Netball, Kho-Kho, and Athletics. They can also fulfill their interest in indoor sports activities like Badminton, Carom, and Table Tennis. It also provides a well-equipped gym and yoga facilities.
BMS Law College, Bangalore began its work from the year 1963-64 as per the regulation of BMS Educational Trust. Trust recieved its name after Late Dharmaprakasha Rajakaryaprasakhta B.M. Sreenivasaiah. It was found as a Private Educational Institute to provide Higher Education for building a career in the field of Law. It is accredited from Bar Council of India and affiliated to Karnataka State Law University (KSLU).
Initially, the college got affiliation from Mysore University. During the commencement, the managerial principal, Late AG Ramachandra Rao, the Education Minister of Mysore. Later his successors were Hon’ble Justice Mr. E.S. Venkataramaiah and Hon’ble Justice Mr. M.N. Venkatachalaiah, former CJI who in the initial ten years guided and distributed funds for the college. Late V. Krishnamurthy (Senior Advocate), Professor Late Venkatakrishnappa, Professor Late S.V. Ramanna, Professor T.K. Acharya, Professor V. NarayanaSwamy served as ex- principals. BMS College of Law, Bangalore is presently managed by Dr. Seema Surendran.
