Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary (SGT) University started its operation in 2013 under the aegis of Dashmesh Educational Charitable Trust. The Private University is located at Gurugram, Haryana, and is approved by UGC & AICTE.

SGT University Gurgaon is recognised by PCI, BCI, Indian Nursing Council (INC), National Medical Commission (NMC), Dental Council of India (DCI), Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), Indian Council of Agricultural Research (ICAR), and Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM).

Admission Process

Interested students seeking admission at SGT University Gurgaon can apply either online (registering through the official website) or offline mode (by visiting the campus).

SGT University admission seats are to be filled on the basis of marks obtained by the students in the last qualifying exam / State or National level entrance test/ Personal Interview, based on the course’s criteria.

Reservation Criteria

As per the Government’s norms, SGT University Gurgaon has reserved some of the admission seats for the students belonging to different categories. 25% seats to fill-in by the Haryana domicile students. Moreover, 10% are reserved for the students belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC) category who are residents of Haryana.

To ease the financial burden of the students, SGT University Gurgaon offers scholarships in different categories like merit-based, sports achievers, employee’s ward, defence, and many others. Based on Class 12^th Marks

This scholarship is offered on the basis of 12^th standard marks secured by the students. In order to avail this scholarship, students must have completed Class 12 in PCM / PCB with English. Moreover, average marks of the subjects that students have obtained in both years will be considered.

CUET qualified students can avail this scholarship and details are mentioned below:

* 25%, 50%, and 100% scholarships are available for the sports achievers based on the different categories like State / National / World Cup / Olympics / Commonwealth Games (CWG) level game.

* Students belonging to categories like defence (for boys), females (for medical courses), alumni reference, etc. can avail 5% scholarship on tuition fees.

• Scholarship for PG Courses (Merit-Based)

Students applying for Master’s courses (except M.A (Clinical Psychology), Physiotherapy, Law, Design, and others) at SGT University Gurgaon can avail this scholarship based on their marks secured at Graduation level.
