Midnapore College Faculty Profile, Medinipur

There are 5 faculties here in our department including our HOD and 2 temporary teachers. Our HOD has done M.Sc & PhD. In Economics, 3 assistant professors have also done PhD in Economics and other one is currently doing his PhD. Our HOD, Dr. Chandrima Chakraborty is so humble and kind to the students. She teaches us using easiest method to understand for students. They never gave us unnecessary assignments. Other teachers are also good. They are friendly in nature. The teaching method is blackboard and for Statistics, we have attended several practical classes in the lab. Their problem solving ability in unbelievable. The average students in every semester of Economics department is 20. Therefore, there are no issues to give attention to each students. The faculty members of our college are well qualified from best institutions. They are very much helpful and attentive to students. They are also from physics background. Faculty members have good enough skills and teach all the topics properly. They help students in regarding anything. There use group discussion, PPTs, and black board to teach. The background of all teachers in our department is in line. Teachers are so friendly.Read Full Review
