SIBM Pune Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The Symbiosis Institute of Business Management (SIBM), Pune has around 3 hostels so that all the male & female students can live comfortably. Additionally, since the Institution offers residential courses, it is compulsory for all the students to stay at the accommodations which are situated in close proximity to the academic block.

The hostels (i.e., ‘Old’, ‘New’, and ‘Annex’) present at the SIBM Pune have ample rooms which are allotted on twin, triple & quadruple sharing basis. These rooms have necessities & fixtures such as separate beds, study tables, chairs, storage spaces, etc. The SIBM Pune hostel fees are between Rs. 2,67,000/- to Rs. 2,96,900/- for a year & it is inclusive of room rent, mess, and other charges.

Note: Additionally, afore-specified hostel fee of the MBA program is for triple occupancy rooms. Students need to keep in mind that every year, there will be 15% and 10% increment in hostel & mess fees, respectively. Numerous rules & regulations have been formed by the SIBM Pune hostel authorities to create an atmosphere at the accommodation complex that fosters academic focus, discipline, and mutual respect.

• Students need to live within their allotted rooms & should inform and seek permission from their wardens beforehand in case they wish to change their allotted rooms.
• Ragging, bullying, hazing or other such inhuman acts should not be practiced or supported at the on-campus residential building.
• Activities like smoking, drinking, substance abuse, etc. are restricted within the accommodations of the Institute.
• Hostel in and out timings need to be followed by each & every resident of the Institute’s hostels.
• Boarders shall refrain themselves from keeping e-kettle, induction stoves, iron, dryers or other electronic items without permission of the in-charges in advance.
• Hostellers need to have approval of their wardens in case they plan to leave the on-campus residences overnight.

Around 3 hostels which are ‘Old’, ‘New’, and ‘Annex’ have been constructed at the SIBM Pune Campus. Also, the hostels are different for boys’ and girls’. Each hostel has its own warden, in-charges, and other staff members as well & they are available 24/7 so that students’ daily life requirements can be fulfilled on time.

Furthermore , the 2, 3, and 4 seater rooms present in all these residences are furnished with beds, chairs, tables, storage spaces, etc. to ensure that students have excellent living experience. Both boys’ & girls’ hostels also have a few single occupancies, which are exclusively available for differently-abled students.

Aside from the SIBM Pune hostel rooms, a mess with dining hall is available near to the living area where freshly-prepared quality and delicious meals are offered to the residents. For the recreation of the hostel inmates, tournaments and other fun activities are held on a regular basis.
