• Ragging in any form is unacceptable and boarders who are found practicing or supporting such an act will have to face strict consequences taken by the Disciplinary Committee including suspension or expulsion from the hostels.
• Hostel inmates are restricted from smoking, drinking or consuming other intoxicating substances while living at the residential premises.
• It is compulsory for the boarders to be present at the hostels during the time of attendance.
• Prior permission needs to be taken from parents and designated wardens in case students wish to stay out of their rooms for an overnight or more.
• Hostel in and out timings should strictly be followed by the students for leaving & returning to their respective rooms. Also, students are not allowed to leave their residences post 9:30 PM.
• Damaging hostel property, pasting photos / notes on the walls or other such acts are strictly forbidden.
• Electrical items like e-kettles, iron, induction, hot plate, and others cannot be kept at the rooms without permission of respective in-charges beforehand.
• Male students cannot enter the girls’ hostel & vise-versa.
• Any of the hostel management will not be responsible for loss, damage or theft of students’ personal belongings. Hence, it is advised to lock the rooms and cupboards properly before leaving for classes, mess & other outings.

To ensure privacy and safety of students, there are separate male and female accommodations at the ISBM College of Engineering Pune Campus.
