Hi, I'm currently a third-year student at SCOE, Pune. To talk about my college, it is located in Vadgaon. It is easily accessible by roadways, rail, and airways. The management is pretty decent. I wouldn't tell that it's the best considering that the teachers have also gone on strikes against the college for not paying them on time. Though this doesn't affect the students directly, it obviously does affect us indirectly (the quality of education went down for a few months).
The admission is done directly based on marks obtained in MHT CET. The seat allocation depends on the common counseling that occurs after the MHT CET. Besides qualifying the MHT CET, you should have obviously passed the 12th board exams. And please note that the physics and maths subjects are supposed to be compulsorily chosen in your 12th standard. JEE mains is also accepted in case you’ve not given the MHT CET.Read Full Review
Well SCE gives admission just on graduation and therefore those who haven’t done GATE can also apply for ME here. Well, that wasn’t the sole reason for me choosing this college. It’s a great college as Pune anyways do have a lot of engineering colleges to boast from but Sinhgad College of Engineering Pune comes right up there. M. E. doesn’t have mechanical branch here but they do have Mechatronics and Automotive Engineering specialization. Automotive enticed me rather more as Pune has all big names like Tata Motors, Mahindra, and Bajaj Auto there so I knew it will be a great deal of learning. For a mechanical student who just did few workshops on automobile industry to crack such a tough nut but I am glad to go through as it was tough but mechanical engineering teaches one to be tough. With all due respect to CS students but our studies require not just mental toughness but physical toughness too. Their internship is wagging tail types while ours was real laborious work because I did my interns at Bajaj Auto and trust me it was the toughest phase that I went through during my academic career.Read Full Review
Sinhgad College of Engineering Pune, just the name of the college is enough to let you know about the perks of being a student of it. When I took the admission, all of it, about the college was new for me but as the time went everything fell upon its place. The college does not arrange different things for students but does the same things differently. I graduated in Mechanical Engineering in year 2016. All the time when I was studying there, not once did I regret the decision. The college makes you every day worth it for having to get to learn here. Yes, studies and all are more than good but apart from that the college does offer you a lot of things which really makes the difference for students. Every year, as an annual festival, The Sinhgad Kanrandak is arranged as the annual festival.Read Full Review
