Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT) Pune located at Bibwewadi, Pune started its operation in 1983 under the aegis of Bansilal Ramnath Agarwal Charitable Trust (BRACT). It is an Autonomous Educational Institution which is affiliated with UniPune (also known as Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU)) and it is approved by AICTE, recognised by UGC, and accredited by NAAC & National Board of Accreditation (NBA). Students can obtain admission at the Institute in any of the specialisations offered under the 4-year B.Tech program including Computer Engineering, Information Technology, etc. and the overall tuition fees of the same ranges from Rs. 7,16,520/- to Rs. 21,49,560/-. To secure admission in this VIT Pune Course, students are required to fulfill the following eligibility criteria:
*A relaxation of 5% is available in the minimum qualifying marks for reserved category and PwD students belonging to Maharashtra State.
Note: The Indian students are required to qualify MHT CET / JEE Main (Paper 1), whereas, students domiciled in the State of Maharashtra are supposed to pass MHT CET.
Admission Process
Students can fill-in the online enquiry form available on the Institute’s official website to secure admission in their desired course of study. The authorities will grant the VIT Pune admissions to the students on the basis of educational qualifications and scores obtained in MHT CET / JEE Main (Paper 1).
Also, the state level seats which are 85% will be filled through MHT CET and all Indian seats that are 15% via JEE Main (Paper 1).
