Fee Structure and Placement Success of VIT Pune

As I took admission in 2024 till now it was very good experience. As you come in Vishwakarma Institute of Technology for first year, your journey starts with incredible fresher’s party and there are many events in institute like Vishwakarandak, which will give you a very good experience. I have chosen this institute due to good placements in institute and as per my percentile this was best institute. As this institution is autonomous, in our syllabus there are only important subjects like there are mostly technical subjects, but in other institutes there are core subjects too in 1st year.

As I got 98.23 percentile in MHT-CET exam, I was allotted AI&ML branch in this institute. As it is growing branch there are good placement results in this branch so it motivated me to perform effectively. You have to get good percentile in MHT-CET exam or JEE exam. There are 3 CAP rounds, if you are allotted the institute in CAP round your admission process will start or else there is management quota too. As my branch is AI&ML there is a weekly active development test in institute and some examination for semester 1 and same for semester 2. There are subjects like general proficiency, student activity, etc. which will develop our soft skills which will help in real life challenges too.

At VIT Pune, there are different fee structures for different cast students. As I am SBC, my fees were approx. Rs. 30,000. I think for open cast, the fee is approx. Rs. 1, 92,000.

There is very big team of faculty which guides us as there are 14 teachers for my class for different subjects. The teaching abilities of all teachers are good enough. Teachers will solve all doubts regarding academics. The teachers will update all notes in official WhatsApp group and there are regular lab sessions as well. Overall the teaching is good.

As I see there is very good placements in VIT Pune. This institute collaborates with many industries and companies. Not only placement, there is very good internships too. This year, 50 LPA was the highest package for Computer Science students.

There is a hostel of institute which is 3.5 km away from institute. The one thing which I don't like is the hostel only due to this; we face many difficulties as we get admission but one thing there are many flats around the institute which we can take by a rent. As I do not stay in the hostel I don't know more detail about hostel.

Institute of VIT, Pune is spread in 6.7 acre area which is small campus. It causes some difficulties like parking and as there are more intakes in institute sometime we feel congested in campus. Apart from this, there are good and clean classrooms and labs. There is a good library and there is auditorium in which around 200 peoples can sit at a time. Overall, VIT, Pune has a good infrastructure. There are three canteens in the institute which provides good food. My favorite place in institute is BOAT club which is at the center of the institute.

Overall campus is small and beautiful which is always crowded. There are total 52 different clubs which we can join as a fresher and they conduct many events and tournament like hackathons. We can gain a lot of experience through these clubs. There are many extracurricular activities like sports, public speaking and many more which will help in developing our skills. There are many events like starting with Freshers, Vishwakarandak, Crescendo and more. My experience until now is best. Overall the institute is best.
