Worth Taking admission

Overall Rating
After merger of two Institutes, VIIT (VIT Kondhwa) and VIT Pune, this became easier for me to get admission in Tech branches. In other branches also faculty members are well experienced and the curriculum is well designed after the merger of both Institutes. For CS and CS related branches almost same syllabus is there. If you are getting VIT in Bibwewadi, you should definitely go for it. There are a lot of coding activities, extracurricular activities and sessions that will blow your mind.
 

Academics Rating
Currently I am studying in computer science branch specialized in Cyber security IOT and block chain tech, as I want to do build my career in block chain tech./ This is the core reason why I chose this branch. To get admission here you will have to give either MHT-CET or JEE or both, depending on your percentile you have to fill you options in CAP round. The exams are not that tough here but you will have lot more projects and assignments which absolutely help you in your field.
For both the campus the fee is same. For open category it is Rs. 1,92,000/- and for TFWS and reserved category it may be Rs. 30,000/-. Even if the fees are high you can also apply for many scholarships.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty is experienced enough. For some faculties you may feel boring but they are good. About faculty backup, from this year they have assigned experienced teachers for first year student. Method of teaching: The faculty members here use PPT and blackboard both but mostly PPT. Every faculty member is well experienced and they are good at teaching. You can say the content, teachers are very friendly in nature and rarely you will find strict teachers.
 

Placement Rating
As a 2nd year student of this branch I don't know much about placement but for VIT Kondhwa the package offered is nearly 33 LPA. For VIT Bibwewadi it is 53 LPA.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel has their own hostels for girls and boys both, but it will be better if you choose PG as it is a cost effective result.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Talking about college campus both the campuses are small VIT Bibwewadi campus is old but good enough. Even better than Kondhwa campus in case of organization and structure of campus. Both the campuses are equipped with classrooms, Library, 4 or 5 canteens where you will get your favorite dishes, breakfast, etc. Talking about the favorite thing to do in campus is playing volleyball and roaming around boat club, etc.
 

Campus Rating
There are classes conducted for 5 days from Monday to Friday and Saturday-Sunday are full chill. Initially you will not get any burdens of projects and assignments so enjoy that moment but also utilize that free time and learn coding like c and python which will be in your first semester. Saturday-Sunday playing volleyball in Institute with friends. From merger the overall strength is increased but due to the different time table you will not feel very crowdy in Institute. There are so many clubs, fests and cultural events performed in Institute.

    To start with a summary of VIT Pune, I feel that it is definitely a place that everyone should consider while studying for MHT CET.     VIT is a very good college for placements and infrastructure. The teachers are better but the syllabus is amazing. It is different from other colleges and my experience here was very good.     I study at VIT Pune. I am currently in first year and my experience at the institute is good. There are some problems like those that the campus is small to accommodate this many students. Because this year, the student intake was around 4800 but last year, it was just 1200-1300.
