My college life experience

Overall Rating
Campus is good and fresh as compared to other colleges with a lot of trees and beautiful views. The sprawling campus of SCOE is well maintained and equipped with modern facilities. The library, labs, and recreational areas contribute to a conducive learning environment. It offers a well-rounded educational experience, combining strong academics with ample opportunities for personal growth. While there may be challenges, the overall experience at SCOE is certainly enriching.
 

Academics Rating
SCOE boasts a diverse range of engineering programs, each with its own strengths. The faculty's expertise and teaching methodologies have played a crucial role in my academic growth. A wide array of engineering programs, catering to various disciplines such as Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics, and more. This diversity provides students with options to pursue their chosen field of interest.
 

Faculty Rating
The professors at SCOE are not only knowledgeable but also approachable. Their guidance and mentorship have been invaluable in my educational journey. While there are some teachers which are good there are also teachers with little to no experience at all. This is often ignored by the college and the students suffer a lot.
 

Placement Rating
Placement is poor but not bad. No scope for internship from college.
 

Hostel Rating
Having spent my first year in hostel I know for sure that the hostel life is good if you stay in A block, but the B and C block is pretty noisy.
 

Infrastructure Rating
Building of SCOE is old. The computer science building is okay as compared to other ones but not that good. The D buildings are like old government buildings. Benches in every classroom are in poor condition with answers written everywhere which may break. Labs are good but computer labs have very slow worked old computers.
 

Campus Rating
Campus is the only good thing in which SCOE goes ahead of other colleges. There are many clubs which you can join, and they are active clubs. As far as I know fests are not held that much. Although the college has a nice cricket ground the college sports club is not that active so many students interested get disappointed.

    I'm currently pursuing my undergraduate program in Mechanical Engineering from one of the Pune's renowned engineering colleges Sinhgad College of Engineering, Vadgaon Pune. As I was looking out to opt for the best possible University to pursue my further studies, I got the name of this college particularly as I have been in this institute for a long while. I have been through the campus inside out and the great infrastructure and amenities of this college were the things which got me here.... Read Full Review

    Our college campus is very big and green Staff is also a good. Teaching style of teachers is also good and supportive. In our campus there are big cricket grounds There are also a huge parking.     As it is known that it's is the oldest college of Sinhgad institution and one of the best. I took their admissions for Computer Engineering and now I am in 2nd year, what I have felt is that this college is of COEP level because it has all the requirements that engineering students need.
