MNLU Nagpur Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The on campus hostels are amazing. They offer various recreation facilities such as gym, table tennis, badminton, volleyball, football and a TV room. However, two hostels are outside and student faces lot of issues regarding bus problem. The mess is quiet hygienic and provides breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. This question is particularly challenging to address some issues at the university which need to be resolved. Currently, when students join the university, they are required to stay outside the campus for the entire first year in hostels arranged by the university. This policy is due to the limited capacity in the on-campus halls of residence. I personally faced this issue during my first year. Students have to rely on the university-provided buses for transportation, which consumes a considerable amount of time throughout the day. Additionally, since there are more female students than male students, some female students are required to continue staying off-campus during their second year, which can be frustrating and burdensome. I would recommend clarifying this situation with the administration. On a more positive note, once you transition to the main campus, life there is relatively relaxed and enjoyable as it saves up a good chunk of your time. The hostels on the main campus are modern and well-equipped, which is expected given the high fees. However, it is worth noting that the hostels lack recreational facilities, and the available options are limited in number. These are some things that should be improved in the hostels. The hostels are probably the best among all NLUs. Every room is equipped with an air conditioner. we get laundry stands, a godrej almirah, a godrej desk, a bed and a comfortable chair. It is to be noted that first years stay off campus and only 2nd-5th year students are staying on campus.Read Full Review
