They have to fill out the application form and submit it online on the university’s website. The university admits students based on merit and criteria set up by the university. Students can apply to the University for a Variety of courses. Students who scored well in the JEE Mains exam get preference to get admission in any stream of B.Tech. They should have also scored at least 60% with a PCM stream in the 10+2 class. For masters, in different streams, the university asks for 50% in respective subjects at graduation. The students who are migrating from another university also have to meet the criteria to get admitted. To get admission in the engineering field, the migrated student should have scored a 60% total in the first year.
After getting admission, the students have to submit documents like mark sheets and passing certificates. They also have to give their ID, like an Aadhar card, for verification. The sports students have also got scholarship privileges to get admission. There are two types of sports quotas in the university. Students are either admitted directly or indirectly through sports trials. Students who have represented India in the Olympics, Asian Games, World Championships, and CWG directly get admission without being given any sports trials. Students who have not participated in these events have to give sports trials to get a seat in the college for admission. They also have to upload their sports certificates on the university’s website. Based on this certificate, 40 marks are awarded, and for 60 marks, they have to give a trial in the sports they have played.
