The Gautam Buddha University is a State Public University which was established in 2002 & later commenced its first academic session in 2008. Located at Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh, it is approved by UGC & AICTE.
The University is recognised by BCI, NCTE, Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI), Council of Architecture (COA), and the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Moreover, the University is accredited by NAAC and certified by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
GBU Noida offers around 160 academic programs to the students at the UG, PG, Diploma, Certificate & Doctoral levels at a reasonable fee structure. It owns around 8 Schools namely, University School of Engineering, University School of Information and Communication Technology, University School of Management, and so on.

Note: For BCA, B.Sc Hons (Biotechnology), MBA (Dual Specialisation), & M.Des, students must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% for SC / ST students) / equivalent grade in the respective qualifying exam.
* For the aforementioned programs (execpt MBA), students will be offered direct admission based on their merit marks in the qualifying exam. Moreover, in the B.Tech course, admission will also be granted to the students on the basis of marks secured in JEE Main.
* Additionally, students who have participated at the National / International Sports tournaments will be provided 5% relaxation in the respective qualifying exam.

Documents Required
The Gautam Buddha University offers various types of scholarships to the students to support their higher education. Eligible students can avail among the following scholarship schemes:
Merit-Based Scholarship for B.Tech Students
Under this scholarship, 50% scholarship (on tuition fee) is offered to students enrolled in B.Tech (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical) programs. In order to avail the same, they must have obtained minimum 80% marks & above in 10+2.
* This scholarship is not applicable for Working Professionals.
Scholarship for ST / SC Students
Students belonging to the SC / ST categories are granted 50% scholarship as tuition fee waiver. Also, the remaining fee may be covered according to the norms of the UP Government.
New Entrant Scholarship Admission (NES-A)
The academically meritorious students who have obtained at least 80% aggregate marks in all the subjects of 12th Standard are offered this scholarship. The NES-A is valid for one academic year for all except Integrated B.Tech-M.Tech & MBA programs and working professionals.

The University has established a Corporate Relations Cell (CRC) that functions throughout the year for providing training & job opportunities to the students. The cell bridges the gap between the students & the corporate world by conducting Gautam Buddha University Placement drives.
