The Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Greater Noida has a number of hostels to provide accommodation amenities to both boys’ & girls’ separately. All the hostels of the University have state-of-the-art infrastructure & facilities and provide a home-like atmosphere to the stduents.

The Gautam Buddha University has approximately 18 multi-storied hostel buildings, out of which 11 are for boys’ and 7 for girls’. The University’s management has formed set of rules and regulations for the hostellers to maintain decorum & discipline within the residential premises; some of these are listed below:

• Hostellers need to sign in the register while going out of the hostel premises from 10 PM to 6 AM. For the longer stay, students should provide the written details to the concerned wardens, indicating the time and destination.
• Male students residing in the hostels need to return to their respective rooms by 11 PM or by 11:30 PM if they are studying at the library available within the campus.
• Residents need to strictly adhere to the mess timings while staying at the University hostels.
• At the University hostels, activities like use of narcotic substances, alcohol consumption, smoking, an act of violence, gambling, and others are prohibited. Necessary disciplinary actions will be taken against the hostellers who are involved in any of these activities.
• Hostel students need to safeguard their personal belongings during their stay in the on-campus residencies.
• Items like cooking utensils, speakers, electric kettle, etc. are strictly banned in the University’s hostels.
• The hostellers should switch-off all the lights, fans, and other electrical gadgets before leaving their rooms.
• Hostellers are not allowed to keep any kind of motarised vehicles within the hostel premises. Any student who is found possessing these vehicles will have to face strict consequences.
