Overall Rating
Gautam Buddha University is a good university. The infrastructure is the most attractive aspect of this university. The faculty is also very cooperative and guides us throughout our projects and research work. The university follows the NEP syllabus, but one thing that should be fixed is not assigning a proper classroom for our lectures.
 

Academics Rating
For enrolling in Ba (Hons.) English course, the eligibility criteria is to secure above 40% marks in 12th class. The admission is done in direct mode only. Future aspirants are required to go through the syllabus prior to the classes as most of the professors are newly appointed ones. There are two exams held in every semester that are mid-term examination and end semester examination.
 

Faculty Rating
There is no permanent faculty in the department of English. Most of the professors are contractual so sometimes it gets difficult for the students to understand various concepts. Although, they are very cooperative and understanding as well. Departmental events are also held by the faculty, but they mostly do these one or two weeks before the exams.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, we do have a Placement Cell but there is no placement in the English course. Instead, we have to apply off-campus.
 

Hostel Rating
Gautam Buddha University itself is a residential university. The hostels are average, rooms are small in double sharing, but single occupancy rooms are perfect. The washrooms need to be well-maintained.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure is really amazing with various schools for different disciplines like School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Biotechnology, School of Vocational Studies, etc. The university is very peaceful for people who love silence and peace. They provide a perfect environment for students to study.
 

Campus Rating
There are two annual fests held in university, Dawat e Gbu and Abhivyanjana. Overall, the crowd is okay compared to other universities. There are also various clubs in the university like Arhant Literary Club, Frames of GBU, Drama club, Dance club and Music club. It is suggested to future students that they do a detailed research about whatever course you are willing to take and search about permanent faculty as well.

    Gautam Buddha University is situated near knowledge park. I took admission in this university because my brother studied here and is a pass out from here. He told me that the university has good placement opportunities and I joined. University infrastructure is excellent; you can compare its infrastructure with other reputed Engineering institutes....     Campus view is very beautiful, infrastructure, fee structure is according to my budget, and these are the things that made me get admission in this university. Hostel security is also very good.
