Ghani Khan Choudhury Institute of Engineering and Technology Malda Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

There are four academic blocks and one administrative block. The academic blocks have full CCTV coverage and also guarded by security personnel. Each academic block has its own auditorium and laboratories for various fields. There are the facilities of library available in the campus, but the book storage is not very good. There is also a canteen which serves cold drinks, lunch, and evening snacks every day except Sunday, but the price is a little on the higher side.

The campus life is very close to boring. There are not much engagement activities available. There is certain robotics club, photography club available but those needs to be remodeled to be more appealing to students to join. The fest is called ' Kristitarang ' which happens during February, March for two years now. Various artists perform in this and also many events for students are available in the fest, but it needs improvement. GKCIET has an Administrative block named Chhankya and every administrative work is done here. There are 4 academic blocks such as Block A, Block B, Block C, and Block D that have Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Food Processing Technology department accordingly. Also, there is a Central Library. It contains many types of book of every department and competitive exams. In the 2nd and 3rd floor of Library there is our Computer Science Department and MLSB lab. The building structures are like IITs. Grassy fields are there in front and behind of the blocks. Overall, the campus is very captivating.

Every Engineering Student enjoys their campus life. Here in the GKCIET we also enjoy it fully. The senior, junior are very good. Seniors don't take any ragging. They enjoy each other companies. They are very helpful. There are many clubs- Dance club, Drama club, Space club, Gym, Rangoli, Badminton play ground, Football ground, cricket ground. In GKCIET, every year it conducts Grand Fest in the time of June and July month. There are many Puja committees - Viswakarma, Saraswati, etc. Teachers Day celebration is quite good. Like any other CFTI college it provides the students with the facilities like library, badminton court, volleyball court, cricket ground, football ground, and gymnasium.

The campus life of this college is a refreshing one with adjacent fields, lake, and playing fields of 100+ acres. The campus has many clubs for students with particular interest namely Tech Club, Photography club etc. The fest is named as ' Kristitarang ' which enrich the students each year with never seen before events. The fest offers a few joyous days and nights with live performing artists and bands. It also offers many other activities like Tech fest, Annual sports, Entertaining quizzes, etc.Read Full Review
