Salesian College provides courses like BA, B.Com for morning and B.Sc, BBA, and BCA for day sessions, along with Masters programs in English, Education, Psychology and Commerce. This college is also recognized as an IGNOU study centre (since May 2005 in Salesian College Siliguri and 2010 in Salesian college Sonata campus). One can enroll in this college through online site of the college or offline form after which a student has to go through few rounds of interview sessions with faculty, vice principal of the chosen stream which may feel quite difficult but they are actually are not that way. A student with average percentage of 70% or more than that can easily get admission in this college. From the academic year 2023-24 the college started offering a dual major in Philosophy, and from the academic year 2024-25 it is ready to offer dual majors in nearly all programs of study, making it the first college in the region to provide such opportunities.

English honors as a B.A. course has been a wonderful journey! The first year was most fun as we all were excited and new to college life. The syllabus ranged from the ancient Greek texts to the Indian texts of Natyashastra, from the Romantic Era to post colonial literature. I definitely learned a lot from the proficient, knowledgeable professors. They have been great in not only the classroom but, also outside of it.

Academically, the faculty of our institution stands out for exceptional expertise and dedication. Nearly all professors hold or pursued a Doctorate degree, and in their respective fields, they showcase Mastery. The practical sessions were noteworthy and we could finish the entire practical at least a month before exams to have a window of one month if needed to practice practical. It is sort of difficult to score marks in Physics and difficult to get CIA Marks because whatever you do in exam will be the calculating factor needed to calculate your CIA Internal Grading.
