Salesian College is a government recognized, now autonomous college, minority educational institution of the Catholic Church which is managed by the Silesians of Don Bosco, Kolkata province. The college accommodates over 3000 students enrolled in Arts/Humanities, Commerce, Science, and professional courses (UG and PG) under the university of North Bengal (NBU). I am well satisfied in this college. One may opt for this college currently as it the only one college in whole North Bengal which is autonomous and it is accredited by NAAC 'A' grade college, twice UGC certified college with Potential for Excellence (CPE).Read Full Review

Overall, it has been a pleasant, if not an excellent experience. I will surely miss the big exam halls, long hallways and the delicious canteen food. Salesian has provided a number of platforms for self growth. Along with academic growth it also conducts numerous events and co curricular activities keeping the student’s overall experience fun and engaging. However, the strict maintenance of the dress code and attendance might seem like a difficult task, especially during rainy days.Read Full Review

I studied Physics (Hons.). While the rigorous focus on theory classes and practical work may limit social interactions for those in science stream, students who enjoy attending festivals, programs and various events will find plenty to engage with. It's important to note that the college has strict attendance policies. Students are expected to adhere to set timings, which can pose challenges, especially in emergencies.
