Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology Reviews on Placement, Faculty, Hostel by Students

My overall review of the campus is not very good. I want to go to institutes like 'AKG' and 'JAYPEE', but my 12th PCM percentage was less and I could not pass the college criteria. I visited many colleges but could not find anything. My counselling percentile was also low which is why I could not get CSE in other colleges. I just wanted 'CSE' which is why I took admission in this college. Children come to this college under compulsion when they cannot get admission anywhere else. Or those who want a degree just for the sake of name. I do not advise anyone else to come to this campus. The children here have no classes. Children do anything as soon as they come out of the college gate. The faculty is also now busy completing the course.Read Full Review

I was searching all around for Engineering colleges. At that time I came to know about this college. My elder cousin brother also studied from this college. I think overall experience is neutral as it was neither very good nor very bad. If anyone asks me about this college to take admission I would say that take admission in the CSE (AI & ML) Branch.Read Full Review

RKGIT has a good reputation but on almost all counts that I will answer in the review the college has failed to deliver. The college has a dress code of white shirt, grey trousers, and maroon tie, which students rarely follow. When I initially joined the college, there were no rules as we can come back at any time we want. All that changed from third as the new dean came in was quite strict, and we had to follow the timings. The hostel life was, in a way, good. The faculty and academics are not very good, though. After registration for B. Tech, it took months to get back our documents. It was worse than a government office, but no change as we were appointed mentors for the juniors, and they even complained the same. The college has tie-up with placement agencies rather than companies. They will interview our scores and CV and pass it to the companies that require their services.
