My Overall Views on Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology

Overall Rating
My course curriculum is average. There is scope of improvement in Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology. You can take admission in this institute if you want to do B.Tech from an institute in Delhi NCR.
 

Academics Rating
I chose B.Tech because I have an interest in technology. I want to build and push myself in that field. I chose Information Technology branch because this course is in demand. Criteria for admission in institute are that you should have at least 60% marks in intermediate with PCM. You can also take direct admission and apply for counseling in the university. Overall you will receive good academics in Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology.
The First year's fee of my CSE- AI&ML course is Rs. 1,35,000. From second year onwards an annual Fee of Rs. 1,20,000 is to be paid. Also the fee structure is same for all other B.Tech branches. The tuition fees is Rs. 1,04,250; the registration charges are Rs. 2,500; and Academic & security fee is Rs. 6,000.
 

Faculty Rating
The faculty members of Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology are some of the best that I have seen. Each Faculty member is appropriately qualified. Most of them have completed their Doctorate; some of them have completed their M.Tech from some of the most prestigious IIT's. The Teachers are easily approachable and friendly to talk to. There are usually three internal tests that are conducted namely-- Sessional Test (ST) 1, ST 2 and PUT (Pre-University Test). Overall we can say nice group of faculties are present at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology.
 

Placement Rating
The Placements at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology are satisfactory. It is based entirely on the individual's skills and pursuit. The students are eligible to sit for placements from the 6th semester onwards. Many notable companies visit the institute like TCS, Wipro, Cognizant, HCL Tech, etc. The highest package of the institute was 34 LPA. The average package is around 5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is around 75-80%.
 

Hostel Rating
Hostel Facilities are available at Raj Kumar Goel Institute of Technology. The facilities provided in the room are one bed, one study table, one study chair and one Almirah. There are two types of room one only has fans and other has AC, the cost of the AC room is higher than normal rooms. The food is average in the mess and the menu is different for different day and the menu changes after every session. The registration process for hostel is done at the time of admission.
 

Infrastructure Rating
All classrooms have smart board facilities. There is one volleyball court, one football ground and one indoor stadium. All the library books and journals are easily accessible and they have to be returned after two weeks of their issuing. The classroom is well-lit and ventilated. All lectures are conducted via Smart Board which helps the students to visualize concepts easily. The institute has an Indoor Stadium also.
 

Campus Rating
There are various events held by the institute clubs in which the students can take part. Societies like YANTRIKOM, STHAPATYA organise various types of events. Every year on Navratri, there is a "MATA KI CHOWKI", where various artists come and showcase their talents. Events like THROTTLE-X and SMART-SPRINT have been organised.

    This is above average institute. Personally I like it very much. It has a good reputation with above average placement record so I chose to take admission in this institute. Even so, having 75% attendance per subject is essential.
