Vignan Institute of Technology and Science Nalgonda Campus: Photos, Virtual Tour

The campus has a large admin block and another block is attached to the admin block. The institute has a very large campus that is spread across 370 acres. There is a central library available in the institute. The central library in the institute contains nearly 37000+ volumes of books and also a digital library is available in the institute. Very large classrooms that can accommodate around 70 students in each room. Every classroom is equipped with smart teaching board and has a stable internet connection through Wi-Fi. There are huge grounds and separate courts available for cricket, football, badminton, Kabaddi, Volleyball, etc. in the premises. There are two canteens in the institute. The institute also provides transport for the day scholar students.

I had a very good journey until now. There is a lot of crowd in VITS Nalgonda. Approximately, there are 5000+ students studying in the institute. There are different clubs prevailing in the campus such as Atrangi club. Atrangi club is an arts club. There is a CSI chapter in the institute. There is a separate NSS wing in the institute that actively participates in the social service activities happening in and around the institute. The institute has a 2-day long annual fest called as ‘Vansh’. The fest is held annually during the month of February. Our campus's main block called VITS is a hexagonal shaped building with G+5 floors. It's a big and vast campus with huge classrooms to accommodate up to 70-80 students in one class. In the centre of this hexagonal building, we have our open-air auditorium which is full of greenery, containing a stage in between the seating. We also have a great library within the campus, just beside the main campus. It is called Vignan Dhara. It has many books available for the students to borrow. It can accommodate many students (approx. 200-300) in it. It's a duplex library and also has a newspaper section and general sections for interested people.

Our institute is known for its way of teaching and academics. But apart from that, we also focus on student development and growth in sections like sports, mental and physical health, etc. We have cultural fests happening every third Saturday of every month. We have sports day every 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month. We also have an annual fest called "Vaansh" which has been a huge hit. We have clubs like "Atrangi" club for dances and cultural activities. We have branch wise tech clubs. We also have committees which take place during fests.Read Full Review

The infrastructure of the college is very attractive. It is one of the main reasons that I have joined the college. It consists of benches which have monitors installed within them (i.e.) smart class. Every class also consists of senses boards and different types of benches and chairs pairs are present in the college. We could say that the overall infrastructure of the college can be given as 5/5 rating.

Campus life in Vignan can be a bit boring and, in some days, it is in a more interesting way that someone can put. But we can say that the cultural events in the college are bit low as compared to the other colleges. It’s been a six-year gap that the college has put up a fest. The college puts up events such as innovative expo, food fest, cultural fest, debates, seminars from experienced people and etc.Read Full Review
