VITS Nalgonda Fee Structure: Scholarships and Reservation Benefits

VITS Nalgonda is very good. The campus is lush green and spread across 370 acres of land. The institute is highly reputed in Hyderabad. It is now an autonomous institution. The city close to the institute is Hayatnagar. The institute is located at a scenic place in Vignan hills. The institute is well known for its placement record from the year 2018. The institute has been successfully placing it's students in top MNCs.

I am currently in third year in the department of Computer Science & Engineering. The CSE department of the institute stands as an heart to the institution. Admission into the institute is based on merit acquired in the qualifying exam. TS EAPCET is the qualifying exam. The qualified students are called for counseling and seat allotment is done accordingly as per the merit and reservation seeking by the student. Exams are conducted on a semester basis. Each semester rums for 6 months. There are two mid sem exams conducted during the semester.

Fee is fixed as per JNTUH norms and scholarships are provided to students availing reservation. BC students get 35% fee waiver. SC and ST students get 100% fee waiver.

The faculties are highly qualified and have a lot of experience in their field. The faculties are friendly and you can approach them at any time to get your doubts clarified. Faculties follow an interactive approach during teaching. Most of the classes happen using PPTs and videos. The faculties encourage students to do small projects from the concepts taught in the class.

The institute has its own placement cell. The placement team guides throughout the recruitment process. Nearly 40+ companies visit the institute every year. The highest package is around 15 LPA and average is 5 LPA.

VITS Nalgonda provides hostel facility in the campus. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. Around 1500 students stay in the hostel. 7 students are accommodated in each room. The rooms are large and very spacious. The food in the hostel mess is pretty good.

The campus has a large admin block and another block is attached to the admin block. The institute has a very large campus that is spread across 370 acres. There is a central library available in the institute. The central library in the institute contains nearly 37000+ volumes of books and also a digital library is available in the institute. Very large classrooms that can accommodate around 70 students in each room. Every classroom is equipped with smart teaching board and has a stable internet connection through Wi-Fi. There are huge grounds and separate courts available for cricket, football, badminton, Kabaddi, Volleyball, etc. in the premises. There are two canteens in the institute. The institute also provides transport for the day scholar students.

I had a very good journey until now. There is a lot of crowd in VITS Nalgonda. Approximately, there are 5000+ students studying in the institute. There are different clubs prevailing in the campus such as Atrangi club. Atrangi club is an arts club. There is a CSI chapter in the institute. There is a separate NSS wing in the institute that actively participates in the social service activities happening in and around the institute. The institute has a 2-day long annual fest called as ‘Vansh’. The fest is held annually during the month of February. There are many events that take place during the Vansh and students from many institutes participate in the fest.
