The first semester is the toughest and I had to spend at least 14-15 hours daily on studies. One thing will be taught as many times you want. Software Systems was 90% practical and therefore labs were our actual classrooms and each student was taught with sheer attention and precision. Seniors who worked as teaching assistant were more than helpful as teaching us revised their knowledge as well. Once, we became seniors we did the same and by the time, we finished the course, we were thorough with the knowledge. In the very first semester, one thing was clear and that was that if we don’t have 6-pointers, we will lose our chance to sit for the interviews. I hardly cared then but now I see if it wasn’t for just one semester, I may have had a 6-pointer and who knows, I might have stopped studies there and would have been sitting comfortably in an IT office rather than a bank. IRC chants consumed the maximum time as in our days Linux used to be the thing and that was the only thing, I used to have issues with. I did ICT with CS and can say that academics were at par with any premier institutes of India because we learned almost every damn thing that a CS engineer should know.Read Full Review

Without a question, academics at DAIICT on most days looked invincible. We were made to do new things in pursuit of gaining something from everything that we did. Take out the history of any institute that ranks among the top and you will see that they have let their academics do the talking. DAIICT did no different because they made academics the strongest and everything just revolved around that. DAIICT have set the trend of making students bold and full of confidence because as an engineer we can never shy away from trying.
