Overall I would rate my university a 7 out of 10. There are many good things inside the university like very nice hostels and tidy rooms. the faculty is also very friendly and easy to understand. The infrastructure of the university is also very good. The negative sides of the university are not up to the mark mess food quality and lower than expected packages. The blocks of each department are located very far away from the hostels.Read Full Review

My overall experience in this university is above average because it is better than I expected. I chose this university because it is near my home and it provides better placements than all the universities in Jammu & Kashmir. I am currently doing Civil Engineering in this university because it is in high demand in the state. The infrastructure is also very good. University has 450 acres of campus.Read Full Review

I am a B.Tech student studying in CSE, 2nd year in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University. I choose S.M.V.D.U. because it is the only university in Jammu and Kashmir which provides placements with a decent package. Also, the infrastructure is very good. The university provides all sorts of facilities to the students including hostel mess, free Wi-Fi and all other things which are necessary for the students.
