In addition to the mess, there is a canteen available within the hostel premises which serve snacks and beverages at all times. The canteen is also accessible to the students living outside the hostel.

The institute has a strong focus on student welfare and provides a range of medical facilities for the residents. A resident doctor and a nurse are available on-call 24/7 in case of any medical emergencies.

Recreational activities include sports like badminton, table tennis, and cricket, and regular movie screenings and other cultural events are organized to help students socialize and unwind.

Overall, the hostel facilities and infrastructure at DDU provide a comfortable and supportive living environment for the students, helping them to concentrate on their studies and personal growth.

One for UG AND ANOTHER FOR PG LIKE GIRLS

2 Maharani laxmibai girls hostel for UG

AND THERE ARE FOUR HOSTEL FOR UG AND PG BOYS
hostel mess offer only lunch and dinner, along with tea at evening and morning
mess food have decent quality, means you can survive there.

The distance from hostel to DDU is less than 1 km. So students can easily come to college without the help of any means of transport. Hostel of DDU GKP is pretty decent also the cost of living in the hostel is affordable. You will get proper rooms and food in hostel and also there are some times restrictions after which you are not allowed to go outside.Read Full Review
