The university boasts well qualified faculty who are genuinely invested in teaching. They're approachable and always happy to answer questions during office hours or even after class. The library is a fantastic resource & is well-equipped with books, magazines and digital resources etc. It provides a quiet space to focus on your studies. The beautiful campus and friendly professors create a positive learning atmosphere. However, the fast-paced semesters as they fly by quickly, and challenging exams can be demanding. One has to be prepared to work hard. Placements seem decent from what I've gathered. Seniors have landed internships at reputable companies, and salary packages sound fair. While details on placements seem encouraging, information on placement support and hostel life is scarce online. For students prioritizing academics, DDU offers a supportive environment. However, those seeking a vibrant campus life or in-depth placement resources might need to delve deeper. Ultimately, DDU has the potential to be a great fit.

Academics of DDU left a strong impression on me in a single year of studying there and made me continue my course there. The professors are the real heroes behind every successful student here. They're not just highly qualified (many with Ph.D) but genuinely passionate about their subjects. Their teaching styles are engaging, interactive and interesting which captures attention of every student. They are always available for extra help during office hours or even through WhatsApp or phone calls. There are WhatsApp groups created separately for each of the 2 sections where all the necessary information related to college and college notes and other documents are provided. The curriculum is relevant and up-to-date, especially Law department. They cover all the important topics you'd expect to. The library is a fantastic resource, with a huge collection of books, magazines digital resources, journals and information systems that proved invaluable for research projects and research papers. However, semesters can feel rushed, and exams can be challenging. It takes good time management skills to keep up with the studies and extracurricular activities along with preparing for exams, which themselves can be quite rigorous. Overall, DDU offers a strong academic foundation, but be prepared to put in extra efforts to excel.

The faculty of DDU is highly qualified with Ph.D, along with passion for their subjects and extensive experience. They are enthusiastic about teaching. They are also available for questions after class hours, which is a big plus from their side. However, like some professors excel at explaining complex concepts in an engaging and interesting way, others rely heavily on rote memorization or rote learning to keep up with the studies and the fast-paced semesters. Overall, the positive side outweighs the negative side. Also if you are someone interested in taking most out of your professors, just connect with them and ask as much questions as possible and make them invest everything into your success.

No, there are no placement cells available in the campus of DDU. Companies do visit campus, offering internships, and a range of salary packages but getting details on placement statistics and the support offered by the placement cell is in itself a hard nut to crack. The placement cell does connect students with some of the opportunities, therefore leading to lack of transparency around specifics. This lack of clear information makes it hard to get all out of the true effectiveness of the placement services. Overall it's hard to say definitively as some students might be getting jobs to some extent, but there's a chance of uncertainty due to the lack of transparency.

Yes DDU provides hostel facilities available for both on-campus and affiliated college students. Living in hostels at DDU can be a mix of opinions. On the positive side, the rooms are mostly doubles i.e. 2 persons in a room with basic furniture available. The fee there is affordable for most of the students. There's also a strong sense of community, especially among students from the same region, course or background. However, hygiene in the mess can be a concern, with some of my knowns and batch mates complaining about repetitive meals. Therefore making some students choose off-campus housing for a more comfortable life. If you're looking for a budget-friendly option along with social atmosphere, and close distance from the college the hostels might work, but be prepared to lower your expectations when it comes to facilities and food quality.

There are two libraries across the campus among which the central library is built in a large area with students from diverse departments. It is a two-storied building with a huge collection of relevant books, magazines, digital resources and information systems. It's the perfect place to have a good study session. Beyond academics, the campus has ample green space, perfect for relaxing between classes, eating lunch together or playing with your friends. There are dedicated areas for sports lovers, with facilities for cricket, volleyball, basketball, etc. Overall, DDU's infrastructure provides a well-rounded environment that facilitates both academics and a healthy student life.

The campus life at DDU again is a mixed bag of opinions i.e. both positive and negative. On the positive side, there are beautiful and well-maintained campuses, creating a pleasant learning environment with friendly professors and a sense of community in the hostels. Whereas on the negative side there's limited information available on its website. Also the website lags a lot and doesn't provide full information about the university which is a large drawback and needs to be addressed soon to keep the website up to date.
