DJSCE Mumbai is an Affordable College to Pursue Engineering

Overall Rating
I have graduated this year and will say that ours was possibly the best Engineering College in Mumbai (at least for me). Placements were fantastic during our batch and it has been a trend since last few years. The best part was that internships were provided at Dwarkadas Jivanlal Sanghvi College of Engineering Mumbai. Attendance criteria for all the students who were pursuing internships were relaxed.
 

Academics Rating
My College is affiliated to Mumbai University. Academics here mean projects and assignments, which are never ending. Even in the final year when I went for a 2 months Internship, I was assigned a project and before I resume again at the College, I had to finish that. So, the pressure was always high here but amid all that academics was superb here. Our College helped in skill building and many soft skills, which an engineer should have, were all taught at our College.
Around Rs. 7,50,000/- is what I paid as total fees at DJSCE Mumbai to finish my Bachelor’s degree in Engineering. Scholarships were also available but mostly for EWS and SC/ST candidates.
 

Faculty Rating
Inquisitive child is what describes them. The students here were less inquisitive and therefore we fondly use to call our professors inquisitive child as they used to attend webinars and all to enhance them. No strict measures even if somebody students failed to clock the minimum attendance mark. So, they were relaxed and even they taught us the same that to study in best way, kindly relax. So, for the first time I saw teachers who didn't pushed us to study hard but to study the concepts of engineering in a very relaxed way.
 

Placement Rating
Last year, around 50 to 60 companies came and almost all the students from different branches of Engineering managed to find themselves a job in 2026.
 

Infrastructure Rating
A building, which was, centralized AC, and had neat and spacious classrooms, library, labs, etc. So inside, we had some space between building and the gate & that was the only gathering point. There's a canteen at the fifth floor and library on the 6th. A Multipurpose Hall at the top floor and the first four floors had academic blocks. Ground floor of the building was for academic purposes.
 

Campus Rating
Mumbai is a cosmopolitan city and our College was no different. Students of various cultures and regions study at Dwarkadas Jivanlal Sanghvi College of Engineering Mumbai but most of them were residents of Mumbai. A good score in the entrance is required to get admission here and thus only students who are academically bright got entry into the College. From traditional day to Ganesh Chaturthi, our College also hosted a lot of events and extracurricular activities all around the year.

The location of the college is one of the reasons behind choosing this college, located in the middle of Mumbai. The college is located in a posh area i.e., Juhu.     My experience at the institute has been incredible, enriching and transformative along with a combination of well structured curriculum, experienced faculties and supportive environment.     My overall experience at Dwarkadas Jivanalal Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai is quite positive. I took this College because of their helpful nature towards students, reputation and good faculties. As compared to other Colleges, this one is more disciplined and students need to maintain 75% attendance compulsorily.     Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering is affiliated to Mumbai University. It is a private college. It is handled by SVKM trust. There are many departments in this college which are Tech as well as non-tech. Students can choose any department according to their interest and passion. The college has a great infrastructure.
