DJSCE Mumbai: A Good College with Excellent Faculties and Good Support

Overall Rating
My overall experience at Dwarkadas Jivanalal Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai is quite positive. I took this College because of their helpful nature towards students, reputation and good faculties. As compared to other Colleges, this one is more disciplined and students need to maintain 75% attendance compulsorily. It gives the students a balanced experience of learning, innovation and more career development activities. Also, it is very feasible to reach the College in terms of travelling cost as compared to other Colleges.
 

Academics Rating
I have chosen Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering. I chose this course because I think it will have great Career opportunities. The eligibility criteria is to qualify in MHT-CET and JEE. My admission process was simple and happened very smoothly. Exams are taken frequently. Before the End semester exams, there are two Mid semester exams which help me to cover my syllabus very easily. The academic structure helps me to apply my skills through my practical knowledge and build my Career.
For my batch which is 2023-2027, the fees is Rs. 2,21,125/- for the whole academic year. The fee includes all the other charges. Yes, there is concession for EBC students. I don’t probably know about the scholarship or financial aid.
 

Faculty Rating
Faculty members at DJSCE Mumbai, are well qualified and have good knowledge of their subjects. Many of them are from IIT, VJTI, and other top Institutes. Nowadays, the teaching mostly happens through smart boards which are very convenient for teachers as well as students. They teach us through PPTs and videos which help us to learn faster. My experience with faculties is very good and all the teachers are approachable to every student. The teacher student ratio is also very good which lets every student get personal attention from the teachers to get their doubts solved.
 

Placement Rating
Yes, they have a Placement Cell which helps the student get Placement and Internships. They also conduct various seminars for Resume Building, Mock Interviews, and Practice Assessments.
 

Hostel Rating
Yes, there is a hostel facility but it is not of DJSCE Mumbai. The hostel is both for boys and girls. Both have different buildings. The rooms are clean and tidy. The quality of food is decent and tasty. I probably don’t know about the fess of hostel as I was a day scholar.
 

Infrastructure Rating
The infrastructure of Dwarkadas Jivanlal Sanghvi College of Engineering, Mumbai, is very good and modern. The library is also good with over 2000 books and is well-spaced for students to study. There are labs with well-equipped modern machines and technology. The campus also has seminar hall, canteen, and gym. The security is also very good and the transport facility is also good near College. My favourite place is their library as it is very peaceful there which is why I don’t study at home but I study in College library only.
 

Campus Rating
Campus life is enjoyable and friendly. The crowd is majorly Gujarati’s and everyone knows how sweet the Gujarati crowd is. Yes, there are many clubs for you to follow your passion. Whether it may be Dance, Music, Book reading, Drama, etc. Various engagement activities also happen in our College like fests. Various committees also conduct events. 'Trinity' is the annual event of DJSCE Mumbai. My experience of campus is very friendly and I like the crowd and the area.

The location of the college is one of the reasons behind choosing this college, located in the middle of Mumbai. The college is located in a posh area i.e., Juhu.     Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering is affiliated to Mumbai University. It is a private college. It is handled by SVKM trust. There are many departments in this college which are Tech as well as non-tech. Students can choose any department according to their interest and passion. The college has a great infrastructure.
