Indian Institute of Mass Communication Jammu facilitates internship and placement opportunities to the students. It invites various companies to conduct placement drives in the University and act as an interacting bridge between the students and industry.
The companies that have participated in the University’s placement activities and hired the enrolled students include Hindustan Times, Zee Media, News 18, Network 18, The Times Group, Air Black, ETV Bharat, Zee Salaam, India TV, Fever FM, SportsRush, Inshorts, Business Standard, Mindpiper, NDTV, Torque Communications, Pixstory, Storytailors, etc.
The lush green campus of IIMC Jammu is spread over approximately 15 acres of land. The campus has been divided into various sections including an administrative block. A TV studio is available in the University. Other facilities include Wi-Fi facility, and air-conditioned classrooms equipped with the latest teaching aids to provide enhanced learning experience to the students.
