The Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology campus covers approximately 40 acres of area. The academic buildings of the University contain around 56 classrooms and 47 e-classrooms wherein facilities like projectors, podiums, smart / white boards, AV aids, and others are available. There are also various seminar halls / rooms and a conference room which students can ultilise for presentations, conferences, discussions & other academic purposes.
At the MAKAUT Kolkata campus, there is an auditorium that features advanced ICT tools, comfortable seats, and other required facilities for hassle-free conduction of cultural events & programs. - Library: The air-conditioned library present at the MAKAUT Kolkata campus has a collection of educational resources like 23,000+ books, 8000+ titles, CDs, DVDs, cassettes, and much more to assist students in their academics. A reading room is also available at the 4th floor of the library where about 100 students can study at a time. Additional amenities present at the library include intranet, Braille section, reprographic, book lending, etc.
Approximately 50 terminals are available inside the digital library of the University so that students can navigate 10,130+ e-books, and other online material through Elsevier, Pearson, Indian Journals, PubMed Central & other databases. Departmental libraries are also present at the campus as well.
- Laboratories: To help students in improving their software skills and work over their assignments, the University has a common computer centre along with various other computer labs and rooms. For academic purposes, nearly 1325 systems are available across the campus. Biotechnology, Engineering Science & Technology, Management, Pharmacy, and other departments of the University have about 75 laboratories so that students can learn to apply theoretical knowledge into practical settings.
Some of the fully equipped departmental laboratories of the campus are Immunology Research lab, Cytogenetics lab, Fuel Technology lab, Advanced Physical Chemistry lab, VFX lab, etc.
