Being a fully residential college, DIET has four boy's hostels and one girl's hostel. The girl's hostel is located near the college campus, providing extra security for women. Full-time supervisors and fully equipped guards are appointed in all hostels to ensure not only safety but the general well-being of the students. A wide variety of Indian cuisines are available to opt for, keeping in mind the nutritional values of the food being served.
