GMC Nagpur Hostel Fees: Rooms, Food & Rules

The GMC provides hostel facilities to its students. I have been staying in the hostel since my first year but my time at hostel was very short because of the pandemic and lockdown, we had to attend online classes from home. It gets boring at some point, just attending lectures without practicals. Hostel is not that clean as sweeper comes once a week, so mostly we have to clean up our room. The mess is also provided by the hostel, the food is not that good but considering it is a mess, the food is ok. We have an entertainment room with TV at the hostel. College and hostel are on the same campus. Non-hostelites can enter the hostel anytime they want because of the college and hostel being in the same campus.Read Full Review

GMC has a hostel in the campus itself. The hostel rules are very strict. Sometimes it feels like suffocation, living there. Hostel itself provides mess to the students staying in the hostel. They provide meals 3 times a day. The campus is groomed well with greenery. So after dinner at night, a pleasant stroll around the campus can be very relaxing. The hostel has television also, we all sit together to watch movies and series, it is the most favorable activity to do in the hostel besides playing Antakshari. There are no indoor games to play in the hostel so sometimes it's boring. But medical students don't find much time to get bored.Read Full Review
