The college is affiliated to VTU, Belgaum and if you wish to secure good rank at the University level then this college is not for you as no matter what the faculty will not give you good marks in internals. It was always a catch up thing at the mains as the college has set a very high standard and it is not easy to please one and all. I cursed all my faculty all 4 years as even after impressing them they never gave me full marks in the internals. At, SVCE there was diversity as many people from other states of the country were also studying here. Some good points about SVCE is that they don’t care much and easy-peasy is the way at SVCE. I had a lot of free times as there was nothing called monthly tests or long assignments or projects to be submitted. If one wants to have a complete utilization of time then this college is best as projects are not just allotted by the college as you can be a part of many mini projects and you will also get an opportunity to send your research to many international journals.
