NIFT Gandhinagar is located in the capital city of Gujarat and was established in 1995 by the government of Gujarat. The city is lush green with spacious infrastructures. As it is a government institute, it comes under the ministry of textiles. NIFT provides Undergraduate as well postgraduate courses. The admission process consists of admissions tests for undergraduates whereas, for masters, the aspirant has to go through an additional GDPI round. The college also offers immersion programs with various international colleges and universities. The management of the college is pretty excellent, they have admissions teams, student councils, club committees, placement committees, and many more.Read Full Review

Being a government-aided institute, NIFT's fees were quite low, and the facilities provided within that fee were unbelievable. I came all the way to Gandhinagar as many of my classmates from my previous college Pearl Academy Noida too came here. Ahmedabad is one of India's largest textile manufacturing cities, and Gandhi Nagar being close to that was an advantage. So, where the wind blew, I came along. At NIFT everything was taken seriously as it wasn't a youngster's thing here because the unicorns of the business were stakeholders in NIFT. They would take the students for internships in their companies, and everything was taught here from designing to manufacturing to sales. I had my reservations with a few of the things that were taught here, but because the art of selling is the main thing in business and no better than Gujarati's to learn from, I would say my decision to come so far paid off.Read Full Review
