Sri Balaji International Institute of Management Sciences (SBIIMS) was established in the year 2009 in the IT city Pune under the umbrella of Sri Balaji Education Society. Formerly the institute was known as the International Institute of Management Sciences. Academia follows a selection procedure for admitting students in the courses offered. Weightage of marks for selection includes 40% of score obtained in any of the Entrance Test such as (MAT/CAT/GMAT/CMAT/XAT/CET/ATMA), 35% score of GD/PI, 10th, 12th and Graduation score-15% and Cultural/Sports/NSS/NCC Merit-10%. Institute has strict rules for attendance, and a minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory every semester to appear in the examination.
